Enter by following the instructions posted on the entry screen, subject to the terms and conditions thereon.  Only one online entry allowed per person per e-mail address.  If multiple entries are received, only the first entry received will be qualified and all others will be disregarded.  Entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the holder of the screen name or e-mail address from which the entry is made.  All online entries must be received by 12:00:00 a.m. EST on 12/12/19.  Sponsor is not responsible for incomplete, lost, late, illegible, or misdirected entries or incomplete transmission defaults, computer server failure and/or delayed, garbled or corrupted data transmitted by participants via the Internet.   By entering this Game, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor’s Promotion Administrator, which shall be final, binding and conclusive on all matters.  Giveaway Game starts 09:00:00 a.m. EST on 11/17/19 and ends 12:00:00 a.m. EST on 12/12/19.

3. PRIZE:  Twenty-six winners will be randomly chosen. Twenty-five winners will each receive one pre-selected prize from our “2019 Terrific 25 Giveaway Prize List” (see below). Daily prize ARV varies from $16.99 to $229.98, depending on the pre-selected prize. One winner will receive the Grand Prize, comprised of all 25 pre-selected prizes on our “2019 Terrific 25 Giveaway Prize List”, with a total ARV (USD) of $1,153.65. No substitution of prizes is permitted, except by Sponsor.  If a prize cannot be awarded for any reason, a substitute prize of equal or greater retail value will be awarded.  If selected, a resident of Canada must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without assistance in order to be awarded the prize, due to requirements of Canadian law.

4. DRAWING/ODDS OF WINNING:  Winners will be randomly selected from among all valid entries received.  Each winner will be notified by email and must reply within 30 days to qualify.  Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Unclaimed prize(s) will be donated to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. 

5. ELIGIBILITY/CONDITIONS: Giveaway Game open only to legal residents of the United States and Canada 18 years of age or older.  Void in Puerto Rico, Quebec and where prohibited.  Employees and household family members of Melissa & Doug LLC or of its advertising, internet, promotion, and fulfillment agencies or of operators of its Websites are not eligible.  At the discretion of the Sponsor, winner may be required to complete an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release and, except where prohibited, a Publicity Release.  Affidavit must be returned within 10 days of receipt.  If the winner does not reply to 1st prize notice or if required Affidavit is not returned within the time period specified, the prize winner will be disqualified and the prize will be donated to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.  Cash equivalent of Prize will not be substituted.  Taxes, if any, are winner’s sole responsibility.  Entry constitutes entrant’s permission to post his/her name on Sponsor’s website (and consent to the use of his/her name, photographs, voice recordings and likenesses for publicity purposes without additional compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law).  By entering the Game, entrant consents to the collection, use and disclosure of his or her personal information for the purposes of administering the Game.  This Giveaway Game shall be governed by applicable US or Canadian laws (including Connecticut laws). The venue for any legal actions against Sponsor will be in state or federal court in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

7. RELEASE OF LIABILITY: All entrants release Melissa & Doug LLC, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Google.com or any other social media platforms and each of their parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, agents, employees and all others associated with the development and delivery or execution of this Game from any and all liability with respect to or in any way arising from this Game and/or acceptance or use of the prize, including liability for personal injury, death, damages, or loss.  Sponsor not responsible for prize quality or utility if prize manufactured by a third party supplier.  If, for any reason, the Game is not capable of running as planned, including without limitation infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Game, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this online Giveaway Game.

8. TAXES: Any valuation of the prize(s) stated above is based on available information provided to Melissa & Doug LLC, and the value of any prize awarded to a winner may be reported for tax purposes as required by law. Each winner is solely responsible for reporting and paying any and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, related fees, other costs or expenses related to prize acceptance and use not specified herein, regardless of whether such prize is used in whole or in part. Any person winning over $600 in prizes must provide Melissa & Doug LLC with valid identification and a valid taxpayer identification number or social security number before any prize will be awarded. Such winner will receive an IRS form 1099 at the end of the calendar year and a copy of such form will be filed with the IRS.
